Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with NYU Skin Studio. We take pride in offering high-quality, carefully curated skincare products. Please read the following policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Your Right to Cancel (UK Distance Selling)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

However, this right does not apply to:

  • Skincare products that have been opened, used, unsealed, or tampered with

  • Products where hygiene seals have been broken

This is due to health, safety, and hygiene reasons.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Change of Mind

Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery only if:

  • They are unused, unopened, and in original, resalable condition

  • All original packaging and seals remain intact

Return requests that do not meet these conditions will be refused.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. We may request photographic evidence before approving a return.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer store credit or a replacement in line with UK consumer law.

3. What We Do NOT Refund

  • Opened or used skincare products

  • Products returned outside the stated timeframes

  • Allergic reactions or skin sensitivities

  • Sale or promotional items

  • Shipping costs

Cash or monetary refunds are not provided. Approved returns are issued as store credit only.

4. Return Process

To request a return, please email nyuskinstudio@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  • Reason for return

  • Clear photos (if applicable)

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

5. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part. We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

6. Refunds & Store Credit

Once your return is received and inspected, approved store credit will be issued within 3–5 working days. Store credit is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

7. Klarna & Clearpay Orders

For orders placed via Klarna or Clearpay:

  • Any provider fees or payment processing charges are non-refundable

  • Store credit will reflect the product value only

8. Policy Updates

NYU Skin Studio reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on our website.
